The brief
The client had bought a house that was ready for occupation but wanted a touch of Goldie to make it pop. Her only instructions were that it should feel homely and stand out.
The work
After a design concept we built a gypsum ceiling with lighting and a gypsum TV unit with an electric fireplace, and added a bevelled mirror, wainscoting design and installation, and a sink in the dining area.
The details
We supplied curtains and sheers, carpets and wall hangings, and selected and installed the furniture and décor.
The private lounge
A retreat within the house, with no TV, for reading or catching up. The living room used to open onto it, so we introduced a focal wall for the electric fireplace and covered an old door with gypsum boards. The theme is turquoise blue, silver and grey.
